Showcase Theatre April 13th Cancelled -- Julio's Sick!

The headline says it all -- we won't be playing the show tomorrow night in Corona at The Showcase Theatre. Julio has bronchitis and laryngitis, and can't sing. Not to worry, you can catch us next week instead! Check out the EVENTS page for three SO CAL shows, and we'll see you then.

So Cal Shows Coming Up Fast!

We always get really excited when we have shows at the venues coming up next. If you're a So Cal friend and haven't had a chance to check out these places, now's the time! Trust us, you'll have a blast.

On Thursday April 20th we'll be in San Marcos, right here in San Diego county, at The Jumping Turtle. We run into people all the time who say, "yeah I've heard of it, but I've never been there." Actually, we used to say the same thing all the time too! But The Jumping Turtle is a great venue, with some of the best sound we've had the pleasure of hearing. It's on the small side, so there's a great crowd vibe every time. Lots of bonuses included, like great food, pool tables, tv, standing or sitting your choice. And this time around, the band lineup will be awesome. Check out each band on MySpace and you'll see what we mean. You'll find A Midday Atlantic and Killfast Casino in our Top 8, so just visit our page first and it'll be easy. Look for a few surprises from us, rumor is we'll play something a little different??? Some goodies at the door too.

On Friday April 21st, we'll be at the best venue Long Beach has to offer, Di Piazza's. Actually, this is one of our favorite venues of all time. Another great crowd-vibe kind of place! And there's no better pizza around, really. For this one, download our flyer from our website COMMUNITY FUNSTUFF section, and present it at the door for $2 off the ticket price. The Ziggens headline, and they are always a lot of fun, a great show everytime! The Pensive MySpace top 8 awaits for a check-out on The Ziggens.

And finally, on Saturday April 22nd, the long-awaited return to the train station in Fullerton! We got rained out last time -- the only day of rain in the entire month of January, now known as the dryest January ever in So Cal history! Believe it or not, says it's gonna rain there again on the 22nd, so start your (reverse) rain dance right now!

If you need more details, they're easy to find in the EVENTS section. We can't wait to see you. We'll be away from our home stomping grounds from May until August, the way things look right now, so you can't put us off this time!

Arizona Shows This Week

The fair weather boys that we are, we always love visiting Arizona in April. So it's cold and rainy in the eastern half of the country right now, but it's about 75 degrees in Arizona. Awesome!

This trip is all "firsts" for us, because we're playing in venues we've never visited before. We're playing with some of Arizona's best local bands at each stop, so we really can promise a great time to all our favorite Arizona friends! We hope to see lots of new faces too.

So come have some fun. All ages welcome. We'll be in Phoenix on Thursday April 27th. And the shows in Safford and Tucson the next two days are FREE! You can't beat that.
